Granada nets bigtop

World Brief

Granada Intl. has struck a three-year deal to sell programming by Cirque de Soleil, the Montreal-based performance company.

Granada will handle TV rights outside North America and France to three 90-minute TV specials, one a year until 2003. It also covers the back catalog and any further Cirque de Soleil shows.

Cirque de Soleil first linked up with Granada for the "Quidam" TV special two years ago.
