Tribeca Film Center taps exec director

Cohen-Kirsch to o'see sales, marketing

NEW YORK — Beth Cohen-Kirsch has been named executive director of the Tribeca Film Center. She will oversee sales and marketing for the facility, the screening room and Web site. Cohen-Kirsch, a vet of the Gotham film community, reports to Film Center chief financial officer Trina Wyatt.

Cohen-Kirsch’s “extensive film background and experience in sales and emerging businesses make her a valuable addition,” Wyatt said.

Cohen-Kirsch joins Tribeca after serving as a producer at Penny Pictures. Prior to that, she spent four years at the Shooting Gallery, where she was exec director of Gun for Hire Films and met Wyatt.
