Gilbert Kravette

Longtime concessions manager Gilbert Kravette, died of cancer June 27 in Andover, Mass. He was 78.

Kravette began his career as concessions manager for Dick Clark's "Caravan of Stars" and "Greatest Show of Stars" during the 1950s. A decade later, he worked for the Electric Circus nightclub in New York City in the same capacity. He also owned Roaim Publishing Co., which published and sold souvenir programs.

During the 1970s, Kravette operated as concessions manager of "Disney on Parade" and also associated with Feld Organization to manage concessions and sell programs for Ringling Bros. Circus.

He is survived by a son, two daughters, a sister and three grandchildren.
