Showtime ups Hill, Veale

Chris Hill has been upped to veep, business development, for Showtime Networks' Digital Media Group, while Julia Veale has been promoted to veep, business development, at the division. Hill will be responsible for the evaluation of the company's digital media and new business development initiatives. Veale oversees Showtime's video-on-demand and interactive TV business development initiatives, as well as its investments and strategic relationships. The duo report to Judy Pless, senior veep, business development, for Showtime's Digital Media Group. Most recently, Hill served as director for the business development group, where he helped launch Sundance Channel, Showtime Extreme Spain and the Movie Channel Middle East. He joined Showtime in 1992. Veale served as director of business planning and director for the business development group.
