Harrison 'feeling fine'

World Brief

Former Beatle George Harrison is "feeling fine" after further treatment for cancer.

Harrison, 58, confirmed reports that he received radiotherapy at a hospital in Bellinzona, Switzerland, more than a month ago and said that he required no further treatment. It is believed he had a brain tumor.

Harrison added he was "really sorry for the unnecessary worry which has been caused" by media speculation about his health.

Harrison has had two previous cancer scares -- recent surgery in the U.S. for lung cancer and the removal of a lump in his throat in 1997.
