Marcy McGinnis, John Frazee, Betsy West

CBS News has awarded three veteran execs -- Marcy McGinnis, John Frazee and Betsy West -- with senior VP stripes. McGinnis will become senior veep of news coverage. Frazee has been upped to senior vice prexy of news services and West has been named senior VP of primetime. All three previously were veeps.

McGinnis oversees the division's worldwide news gathering and hard-news coverage, as well as the operation of all bureaus. Frazee was the architect of CBS Newspath, the world's largest satellite operation, and is co-founder, with McGinnis, of its European component, the European News Exchange. West oversees "60 Minutes," "60 Minutes II" and "48 Hours," as well as the development of primetime programs.
