Ticketmaster brokers PR veep

L.A.-based exec reports to CEO Pleasants

USA Networks Inc.'s Ticketmaster unit said Tuesday it has appointed Adrienne Becker to the post of VP, corporate affairs, overseeing internal and external communications and cross-company initiatives for Ticketmaster companies including Ticketmaster, Citysearch and Match.com.

She will be based in Los Angeles and report to Ticketmaster CEO John Pleasants.

Becker will also continue in her current role as VP, corporate communications, for USA Networks Inc.

Becker joined USA in March 1999. Prior to that she was a director of communications at CBS Corp. and a press secretary for the Clinton-Gore campaign in 1996. She has worked as an associate with New York corporate consulting firm Osgood, O'Donnell and Walsh and as a special assistant to former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.
