Corzo adds up as new sr. VP at Regency

Exec reports to CFO Santor

Regency Enterprises has upped former VP/controller Robert S. Corzo to senior veep of finance.

Corzo will oversee the company's financial reporting, treasury, tax, budget and accounting functions, as well as manage the company's $600 million credit line with Chase Securities. Corzo reports to Louis Santor, New Regency's chief financial officer.

Corzo began his career in the entertainment division at accounting firm Ernst & Young and has worked in finance capacities for the TV animation divisions of Walt Disney Studios and Largo Entertainment. He joined New Regency Prods., a unit of Monarchy/Regency Enterprises, in 1999.

"Bob has been an invaluable asset to the company and he has enhanced the productivity of the finance and accounting department," said prexy and CEO David Matalon. "We are very lucky to have him as part of the company, and this promotion is a testament to his hard work."

Founded in 1991, New Regency has produced more than 50 feature films, including "L.A. Confidential," "Heat" and "Big Momma's House" and has a distribution deal with 20th Century Fox.
