Singapore duo backing 'Buddha'

In a S$11 million ($6 million) partnership, the Economic Development Board of Singapore and India's Pentamedia Graphics are to co-produce the island-state's first 2-D/3-D animated feature, "Buddha."

Pic, which follows Prince Siddhartha's journey to enlightenment, is slated for international release at the end of 2002.
