Melissa Alcruz, Todd Fedell, Alexandra Shapiro, Wendy Weatherford

USA Network has expanded its marketing team, tapping Melissa Alcruz to veep of trade marketing, Todd Fedell to VP and creative director, Alexandra Shapiro to VP of consumer marketing, and Wendy Weatherford as veep of promotion and interactive marketing. The execs will report to senior veep of marketing Sarah Beatty.

Alcruz will develop sponsorships for advertising clients. She was previously director of marketing at MTV. Fedell will be responsible for all off-air creative development and will be involved in the repositioning of the USA Network brand. Fedell was most recently director of design at the Cartoon Network.

Weatherford will be responsible for creating tactical events for key USA Network programming; directing content, marketing and production for usanetwork.com, as well as overseeing all national, local and online consumer promotions for the network. She was previously director of marketing for MXG Media in Los Angeles. Shapiro was most recently director of marketing for Zoggle.com.
