World Brief

BBC World will offer Spanish sub-titles on lifestyle and documentary programs to its 3.2 million subscribers in Latin America.

"This will contribute to a better penetration in the region and responds to the many requests we have had from subscribers and pay TV operators," said BBC World spokesman Luis Torres-Bohl.

The optional service will begin in August.
