Danae Kokeno

On the heels of a buying spree at Cannes, Gotham indie distributor Lot 47 has hired Danae Kokenos to be its new VP of acquisitions. Formerly the director of acquisitions at Samuel Goldwyn, Kokenos has already worked with Lot 47 prexy Jeff Lipsky. A founder of October Films, Lipsky left his post as head of marketing, distribution and acquisitions at Goldwyn earlier this year. Lot 47 plans to distribute at least 10 films a year, according to Lipsky.
