Indian state sets tax holiday

World Brief

The government of the state of Utar Pradesh has declared a yearlong tax holiday for producers who film in the state. It also has cut the general entertainment tax to 60%. Chief minister Rajnath Singh has also offered subsidies and facilities for producers providing 75% of the film is shot in the state.
