Star inks WB pix deal

Star Channel has signed a seven-year distribution deal with Warner Bros. after 18 months of negotiations. Pact gives exclusive rights for movies including "Wild Wild West," "Eyes Wide Shut" and TV series including "The Sopranos." Financial details were not available.

This is Star's second big deal in two months after April's three-year agreement with Fox Kids Europe.
