Veteran production designer Robert Boyle has been tapped to receive an Outstanding Achievement award from the fifth annual Hollywood Film Festival.

Boyle, who has served as production designer on over 90 features, will receive the honor at the fest's awards ceremony Aug. 6 at the Beverly Hilton.

Boyle received a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997 from the Art Directors Guild. He has been nominated for Academy Awards for "The Shootist," "Gaily, Gaily," "Fiddler on the Roof" and "North by Northwest," having served as production designer on films by Hal Ashby, Joe Dante, Arthur Hiller, Alfred Hitchcock, Norman Jewison and Penny Marshall.

The festival has also set an Aug. 4 screening of "The Man on Lincoln's Nose," a documentary about Boyle's career. The film, written and directed by Daniel Raim, was one of last year's Oscar nominees in the documentary category.
