Peter Ganbarg

Epic Records Group has named Pete Ganbarg senior vice president of A&R, reporting to topper Polly Anthony.

Based in New York, Ganbarg will oversee new signings and artist development and work with the label's stable of talent, which includes Pearl Jam, Korn, Macy Gray and Ginuwine.

Prior to landing at the Sony Music imprint, Ganbarg had served as senior director of A&R at Arista Records since 1997, working on projects including Carlos Santana's "Supernatural" CD.
