Helmer Jamie King arrives for 'Storm's' premiere at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS -- "Storm," blew into Mandalay Bay Resort on April 18 bringing with it a bevy of singers for the opening night party.

Co-conceived and directed by Jamie King, the multi-media, multimillion-dollar production features the elements of earth, wind, fire, and water, plus an onstage tornado.

The tyro legit helmer said putting together this production was a definite challenge. "With concerts or videos, you usually have one artist. Here, I mixed the idea of music and theater into one format to create a visual with no one star," King said.

Ricky Martin, on hand to show support for his management team, which co-produced "Storm," said, "Las Vegas is spectacle. 'Storm' is what Las Vegas is all about."

Among those at the after-party held in the resort's Rum Jungle restaurant were Gloria and Emilio Estefan, George Noriega, author John Gray and Wolfgang Puck.

The Middle-East International Film Festival kicks off this fall.
