Sam Register

Cartoon Network Online has upped Sam Register to senior VP-creative director. Register will be responsible for the overall look and content of the site and will direct the Web Premiere Toons program. Register was previously creative director at Colossal Pictures.

Ken Taylor has joined the TV Guide Channel as an on-air host. Taylor will co-host "Quick Flicks" with Debbie Matenopoulos. He was previously a correspondent for E! Entertainment Television.

The WB 100+ Station Group has upped Tad Vogels to senior veep of finance and administration. He will oversee the finance and accounting, traffic, sales and administration for the company as well as the finances of the group's 111 station partnerships. Vogels joined the WB network in 1994 and was instrumental in the creation of the station group's business plan.

Susan Scott has been named senior VP, distribution of In Demand. Scott will supervise affiliate relations and marketing and be involved in corporate planning. She will oversee the network's regional veeps and help manage the company's national affiliate marketing group.
