Garcelle Beauvais

"NYPD Blue" thesp Garcelle Beauvais has nabbed the lead female spot opposite Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins in the Disney comedy "Black Sheep." Joel Schumacher is attached to direct the Jerry Bruckheimer project, which concerns a vet CIA agent (Hopkins) who recruits the identical twin of an agent (Rock) who has just died to complete his brother's task. Beauvais, who recently appeared in the Mouse's "Double Take," will portray Rock's love interest. Pic begins lensing today in Gotham and will shoot in Prague in April.
