The Nordic Film Festival unspools April 4-8 in Kautokeino, northern Norway. It is a biennial showcase organized by Scandinavian Films, the umbrella body of the film institutes in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

Fest includes retrospectives by helmers Jonas Simma and Nils Gaup, Oscar-nommed in l987 for "Pathfinder," which focused on Laps living in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia.
