Harris stays at New Line
Exec beep of production bucks layoffs

Based in New York, Harris reports to newly crowned prexy of New Line Prods. Toby Emmerich.
Harris is responsible for shepherding such projects as "Blade 2," starring Wesley Snipes; Irwin Winkler's "Life as a House," starring Kevin Kline; and "Simone," directed by Andrew Niccol and starring Al Pacino. "With projects like 'Seven,' 'Boogie Nights,' 'Blade' and 'Magnolia,' Lynn has been a valuable contributor to the company over the years," said Emmerich. "She has impeccable taste and some of the best relationships with talent, filmmakers managers and agents in the business." Harris is currently developing Dave Eggers' "A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius," David Fincher and Art Linson's "Seared" and Nicolas Sparks' bestselling novel "The Notebook."
She joined New Line as a veep of production. Previously, Harris ran Lynda Obst Prods.
