Promark Entertainment has made a long-term agreement to finance film acquisitions for producers rep Turtles Crossing.
Turtles Crossing's name refers to its success in repping films that are slow to start but achieve success in the end. Company has cut deals with home entertainment, broadcast TV, cable services and airline outlets.
Since Susan Jackson formed Turtles Crossing in 1999, the company has repped domestic distribution for titles including "The Nephew" starring Pierce Brosnan, "Paranoid" starring Jessica Alba, "The Intruder" featuring John Hannah, "Walking Across Egypt" with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Ellen Burstyn and "The Misadventures of Margaret" starring Parker Posey.
Germany's Das Werk acquired a 73% stake in film and television producer-distributor Promark last October.
