Internet sports venture SportsLine.com reported consolidated revenue in the fourth quarter rose 57% to $22.2 million. For the year, it was up more than 100% to $95.9 million.
SportsLine.com's flagship service is CBS Sportsline.com. Excluding a gain from the reversal of deferred revenue and the writedown of some equity securities, it reported a consolidated net loss of $16.7 million for the quarter. It said it ended the year with $126 million in cash. On Jan. 29, it announced a multiyear partnership with USA Networks' Electronic Commerce Solutions, which will build and service SportsLine.com's retail infrastructure. Cross-promotions will include promoting the online store on USA Networks' properties such as USA Network and the Sci Fi Channel as well as Internet sites Ticketmaster.com, Citysearch.com, Match.com and HotelDiscount.com.
