TV Books to publish 2nd Survivor e-book

Joint project planned with Adobe Systems

TV Books, which acquired lit rights to the "Survivor" franchise even before the first series was cast, will team up with Adobe Systems to publish an electronic companion to the new series, set in Australia. TV Books published both a print and, with Contentville.com, an e-book guide to the first series, titled "Survivor: The Ultimate Game."

Adobe, a provider of software for the reading and downloading of e-books, will use the "Survivor" book, which comes with video and graphics from the show, as a chance to debut an updated version of its Glassbook e-book reader. TV Books and Adobe plan to launch the book with a major, direct-to-consumer marketing push.
