Music.com bows print magazine

Cyberbiz Brief

Music information portal Music.com plans to break into the old-media realm with a quarterly print magazine and CD-ROM combo, launched as a 50-50 joint venture with Florida-based specialty publisher Milor Entertainment Group. The venture, which will sport its own editorial content and staff, focuses on the intersection of music and technology. Mag will bow in April with a circulation of 250,000. Milor chief exec Michael Fagien, who founded jazz pub Jazziz in 1982, will head up the new Music.com print/CD entity.
