Endemol prez lines up team
Young, Foy, Chartoff chosen for exec suite
Veteran producer Eugene Young, most recently a senior producer on the syndie strip "Extra," has been named VP of programming.
In addition, John Foy has been named VP of production, while Ira Chartoff will act as director of finance.
"I am proud to say that Endemol USA has a team in place," Goldberg said. "We are fully operational with an exciting slate of productions set to air in the coming months. (Endemol topper) John de Mol and I feel fortunate to have secured such talented people."
Endemol, which produced last summer's CBS reality skein "Big Brother," has four series or specials set to premiere over the next few months, including "Sweet Revenge" and "Fear Factor" at NBC, "Chains of Love" for UPN and "Kiss the Bride: The Ultimate Valentine" at the WB.
Before his gig on "Extra," Young spent several years as a news producer for KCBS Los Angeles and for Gotham-based WABC's late newscast.
Foy most recently served as production supervisor on a series of network and syndie projects, including the recent Fox concert specs featuring 'N Sync, Britney Spears and Santana. Previously, Foy was exec in charge of production for "The Martin Short Show."
Chartoff comes to Endemol USA from Warner Bros. Japan, where he was director of finance for the past decade.
