Sunday's People's Choice Awards may have kicked off kudos history for the new millennium, but judging from the habitual trophy handoffs to "Friends" and "ER," for favorite TV comedy and drama, the people have opted to ring in the new year with trusty favorites.
The 27th annual kudocast, which aired on CBS, was held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and was hosted by "King of Queens" star Kevin James.
"ER's" win marks a seven-year sweep for the hospital drama, while the "Friends" nod served as a repeat from last year.
