Sony Music Entertainment has upped Gail I. Edwin to senior veep, global litigation.

Edwin will be responsible for the company's litigation activities and policies worldwide and will report to Thomas C. Tyrrell, senior VP, general counsel & secretary.

Edwin joined Sony in 1984, most recently serving as VP and litigation counsel.
