Indian b'casters seek relief

The broadcasting industry has asked the government to waive its 10% revenue-sharing arrangement for direct-to-home satellite TV ventures.

The Indian Broadcasting Foundation, a non-profit-making body of broadcasters, is also lobbying the government to raise the 20% ownership cap imposed on companies involved in DTH.
