The dinner event, set for March 3 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, honors producers of feature films, TV drama and comedy series and TV longform productions.
"As producers, we know the value of putting on a good show and believe Dick Clark Prods., with their vast experience and fantastic track record, are the perfect team to help us achieve that goal," said PGA board member Laura Ziskin, co-chair of the dinner with Bruce Cohen.
In addition to producer of the year, the honors include the lifetime achievement award, hall of fame award, the milestone award, new technology award, vision award and Nova award. Producer nominees will be announced in January.
Clark said, "We are excited by the prospect of adding this show to our company's prestigious award show presentations and hope the Golden Laurel Awards will become an annual television event."
The PGA is seeking industry support for standards to tighten producer credits, including the award of a PGA certification mark.
It kicked off its credits campaign last February when it excluded two dozen names from previously announced Golden Laurel nominations to limit producer numbers to three per show.
