'Clouds' shadows Euro Prix Fipresci nod

The Turkish film "Clouds of May," written and directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan, has been named winner of the Prix Fipresci, part of the European Film Awards.

Kudo is decided by a jury of critics under the auspices of the European Film Academy. The prize will be handed out at the EFA ceremony Dec. 2 in Paris.

"Clouds of May" is an autobiographical account of the director trying to persuade his family to co-operate in a film about their everyday rural lives.
