ESPN, Broadband unite for new channel

Disney Internet Group subsid ESPN.com has pacted with Broadband Sports to bow a new online channel today at AthletesDirect.com. New site will host the personal Web sites for jocks like Kobe Bryant, Anna Kournikova, Derek Jeter, Troy Aikman, Kevin Garnett and Mia Hamm. Content will include journals, photos, chats and audio and video clips.
