TBS Europe ups Johnstone

Turner Broadcasting System Europe has upped Stephen Johnstone to the post of head of interactive, responsible for the company's iTV, Internet and wireless activities.

Johnstone, who joined Turner in 1994, had been channel manager for Cartoon Network Spain. He will be based in London.

Turner operates Cartoon Network Web sites in the U.K., Italy and Holland, and it's poised to launch in other European territories. Turner Classic Movies has sites in Britain, France, Poland and Spain.
