Fleming may find 'Closure'

Written by former attorney Ellen Rapoport, "Closure" concerns a successful young female lawyer who becomes upset after getting dumped by her fiance and hits the road to confront and seek closure with several ex-boyfriends.
Rapoport also penned "Sorority Rules," which will be directed by Illeana Douglas and produced by Bigel/Mailer.
"Closure" is part of Summit's growing slate of internally developed projects that the company will finance and distribute.
Project will be the producing debut for Kate Phillips, a former mergers and acquisitions attorney who met Rapoport in New York while both worked at legal outfit Skadden Arps.
After Phillips and Rapoport developed the script and sold it to Summit, both women left their legal careers for Hollywood.
Pic will be supervised by Summit principal Patrick Wachsberger and senior VP of production Modi Wiczyk.
"We are absolutely ecstatic to have Andy become part of the Summit family," Wiczyk said. "He's an incredibly gifted director and has a unique sensibility and deft touch that are perfect for this film."
Fleming, who also helmed "The Craft" and "Threesome," is repped by UTA and attorney Steven Katz of Katz, Golden & Sullivan.
