Col TriStar Int'l TV ups 2 to senior VP

Eberts, Schultz joins int'l networks

On the heels of recent promotions within Columbia TriStar Intl. Networks' film distribution arm, the company's TV entity has followed suit with two of their own, upping Martha Eberts to senior veep of international networks and development and T.C. Schultz to senior veep, international networks.

Both execs will report directly to CTIT exec VP of international networks Jon Petrovich.

"Martha and T.C. have been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for channel growth, having played integral roles in expanding CTIT's presence in a crowded global marketplace," said Petrovich.

Formerly veep of international networks, Eberts will broaden her role to incorporate worldwide responsibility for channel profitability and growth with a primary focus on Asia. In addition, she will spearhead new-media strategies for CTIT, working closely with regional channel heads and other partners, including SPE Digital Entertainment Group.

Eberts, who joined CTIT in 1995 from Sony's corporate development group, has assisted on channel launches for SET in Latin America; AXN in Asia, Japan and India; and Animax in Japan.

Schultz, also upped from a VP post, will work in the same capacity as Eberts, focusing his efforts on Europe and Latin America.

Prior to joining Col, Schultz served as exec veep of SBS Broadcasting. He has also held posts at Sharkris Inc. and Hearst Broadcasting's WBAL.
