Inside Move: Horn gets Newsweek nod
Premiere vet replaces Brown on entertainment beat
"We are very excited to have John's acute eye and story sensibility as Newsweek," said chief of correspondents Mark Miller.
"I am thrilled to be working for what I consider to be the nation's best news weekly magazine," added Horn.
Horn, who will work out of Newsweek's West Coast offices and assume the position Aug. 28, had been at Premiere for two years and prior to that at the Associated Press for nine years. He replaces Corie Brown, who ankled for the Los Angeles Times.
