Disney hits Mexico TV

Latino Mouse has 10-year deal

MIAMI -- The newly launched Disney Channel Latam will be available on Mexico City cabler Cablevision as part of its premium offerings, HBO Latam Group announced.

HBO Latam has exclusive cable distrib rights to the Spanish-lingo web, which bowed July 27 throughout the region. Disney Latino has a 10-year DTH exclusive with satcaster Galaxy Latam's DirecTV.

Cablevision is a subsid of Grupo Televisa and is currently upgrading its system for digital and broadband services.
