American Eagle, Miramax cut clothes deal

Cyberbiz Brief

American Eagle Outfitters has inked a deal with Miramax's Dimension Films, becoming the studio's official apparel supplier for at least four pics that target the 16-24 demo. "Boys and Girls," starring Freddie Prinze Jr., Claire Forlani and Jason Biggs, released earlier this year, was first; the other three are upcoming. AE will promote future Dimension releases on its Web site, in its print magazines and at its 500-plus stores nationwide. Deal isn't AE's first foray into Hollywood: Company outfits the cast of "Dawson's Creek."
