Bloomberg sets beam

World Brief

Bloomberg TV plans has launched a trial of its international business and finance channel in India, signing a pact with Thaicom Shin Satellite to beam into the subcontinent.

The net has been available free of charge on Indian screens since July 1; this trial will last through the end of the year. Channel will be grow to full-time status if market results are favorable.
