Outfest eyes 'Tammy Faye'

k.d. lang and Lily Tomlin hang out at the Outfest preem of 'The Eyes of Tammy Faye.'

 

Outfest, the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, opened Thursday with the preem of Lions Gate Films' "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

Lily Tomlin presented the fourth annual Achievement Award to Academy Award-winning filmmakers Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.

Among those attending were Fenton Bailey, Alan Ball, Randy Barbato, Erin Hamilton, Christopher Landon, Erik MacArthur, J.P. Pitoc, Angelo Spizziri, Mink Stole, Heather Tom, Kevin Williamson and Lesley Ann Warren.



The Middle-East International Film Festival kicks off this fall.
