The party, which actually took place July 1, was held on Field's sprawling estate, and as darkness descended on the revelers, they were guided by candlelit trails criss-crossing the property.
Field spent his time ensconced in the house with occasional visitors.
Outside, Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans and writers Phil Beauman and Buddy Johnson ("Scary Movie"), along with Seven Arts exec Eric Sandys, writer-director Greg Widen and producer Cary Woods all showed up.
Across town in East Hampton the same evening, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw threw their own bash on his estate.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Affleck, Laura Dern and Sheryl Crow were among the guests.
