Cohen joins Siegel as lit manager
Exec has book-to-film experience

She will help the company rep the film rights for such authors as Elmore Leonard, Michael Cunningham, Rafael Yglesias, Martin Amis, Rick Dooling, Mark Salzman and Paul Beatty.
A former development exec at various production shingles, Cohen comes with a track record of overseeing book-to-film projects.
While a veep of development for Robert Redford's Wildwood Pictures, she was involved in "A River Runs Through It." She also worked with producer Richard Gladstein's FilmColony developing John Irving's "Cider House Rules." And while an exec at Geffen Pictures, she worked closely on such films as "Interview With a Vampire" and "Michael Collins."
As an independent producer, Cohen developed "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh," based on the novel by Michael Chabon ("Wonder Boys"). While at FilmColony she served as a co-producer on "Since You've Been Gone," directed by David Schwimmer.
In conjunction with the Wylie Agency, Siegel & Associates recently sold film rights to Philip Roth's "The Human Stain" to Lakeshore Entertainment and Hunter S. Thompson's "Rum Diary" to Shooting Gallery.
Its client list includes such children's authors and illustrators as Lane Smith, William Joyce, Graeme Base and Petra Mathers as well as the estate of prolific writer Roald Dahl.
