Masry, who with Erin Brockovich won the largest settlement ever paid in a direct-action lawsuit in U.S. history, joins fellow legal eagles Gloria Allred, Christopher Darden and F. Lee Bailey on the upcoming syndie skein. He is portrayed in U’s “Erin Brockovich” by Albert Finney.
Strip pits lawyers against one another as they argue on behalf of people who would normally not have access to such high-powered legal representation.
Twentieth Television, Fox’s syndie arm, has cleared the show on stations representing coverage of 95% of the country. Show’s broadcast syndie debut is Aug. 28.
Monet Lane Prods. is producing the strip in association with Twentieth.
