Producer Roger Berlind accepted so many awards for no-show "Kate" creatives that when the show got the best tuner revival nod, his thank-you speech was necessarily redundant.
A moment later, Berlind received a big laugh when he introduced himself with a sheepish "Hi!" and accepted the best play award for Michael Frayn's "Copenhagen," which he produced with six others legit honchos who presumably decided to watch the show at home via NY1, which broadcast the ceremony locally.
