Dean, who’ll next be seen with Clint Eastwood and Tommy Lee Jones in Warner Bros.’ August release "Space Cowboys," is repped by CAA and MJ Management.

Christopher Meloni, a series regular on both NBC’s "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" and HBO’s "Oz," has joined the cast of the summer camp comedy "Wet Hot American Summer" for producer Howard Bernstein. Soleil Moon Frye ("Punky Brewster") has been tapped for the 1970s coming-of-age feature "Sex and a Girl," with Robert Hayes and Ellen Greene. Frye, who stars with Will Wheaton in the upcoming indie "The Girls’ Room," is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates.

Comedic actor Jonathan Mangum, a member of the L.A. improv group Houseful of Honkeys, will join Victoria Jackson, Julie Brown and Maxwell Caulfield in the Comedy Central series "Strip Mall."
