Saltzman joins Akin Gump
Attorney newest member of entertainment practice
Saltzman’s practice covers a broad range of domestic and international transactions including the development, production, sale, distribution and financing of feature film and television projects.
Among foreign studios and production companies, his clients include Bavaria Film; Studio Babelsberg; X Filme Creative Pool, the producers of “Run Lola Run”; Hager-Moss Films; MTM Cineteve; and Mediacube.

The firm’s recently created entertainment industry practice group, headed by well-known labor attorney Howard Fabrick, plans to build a global, full-service entertainment practice. The group recently added media finance lawyers Fayne and Burke and litigator Peter Haviland.
Saltzman was formerly a partner at Loeb & Loeb in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
