Kunz tops new News Digital arm

Strategic Alliances group will grow partnerships

NEW YORK -- News Corp. will announce today that its inhouse new-media investment and operations arm News Digital Media has created a Strategic Alliances group led by newly appointed VP Claire Kunz.

Kunz, formerly director of sales development for News Digital Media, will report to the unit's president, Jon Richmond.

The Strategic Alliances group will be responsible for leveraging News Digital's relationships, partnerships and investments to create additional exposure and opportunities for the company and its partners, as well as broadening News Digital's relationships within News Corp.

News Digital Media operates FoxNews.com, FoxSports.com, FoxMarketwire.com, and Fox.com. It also develops interactive services and oversees News Corp.'s investment activities in digital media.

The company's portfolio currently includes stakes in Juno, TheStreet.com, PlanetRx, sixdegrees and Yupi as well as the wholly owned Stats Inc.
