Betty Thomas, director of Columbia's "28 Days," discussed a different chemistry from the kind that is her pic's point at its preem Thursday at the Acad.
"When they were all together they're even better than when they were by themselves," she said of the pic's stars.
As if to prove her point, Sandra Bullock, the film's star, who was unable to attend because of her mother's recent death, was missed by her co-stars.
"She is just so much fun and such a treat to be with," said Azura Skye who plays Bullock's heroin-addicted roommate.
Among those attending were cast members Steve Buscemi, Reni Santoni, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Alan Tudyk, Mike O'Malley and Dominic West, screenwriter Susannah Grant, guests Camryn Manheim and Caroline Rhea.
