Tapestry taps exec VP
Komack-Martin to o'see project packaging
Komack-Martin will primarily focus on the packaging of Tapestry's film and television projects as well as on overall strategic growth.
"Robert and I worked closely with Jonathan on numerous occasions in the past and know that he is a highly skilled and effective executive with exceptional talent relationships," said Abrams. "We look forward to having him on board at Tapestry as the company continues to expand."
Komack-Martin was formerly head of production at Trimark Pictures, where he oversaw such productions as "A Kid in King Arthur's Court," which Disney distributed domestically. Also at Trimark, Komack-Martin produced the forthcoming romantic comedy "Held Up," which stars Jamie Foxx and Nia Long.
Tapestry is also prepping "Serendipity," which Miramax will distribute domestically.
