'Rumble' gets rowdy on the road
Stars flex their muscles
Before the bell rang, Arquette told Daily Variety, "I'd advise everyone to leave this to the professionals. (Wrestling) is so much more difficult than you'd think."
Backing up his co-star, Scott Caan recalled, "(During filming) I kneed David in the lower area by accident. It wasn't fun for him, but fun for the rest of the crew, though."
Pic's Rose McGowan benefited from the "Rumble's" grappling-geared plot.
"I can execute a pretty mean head-lock is all I'm saying. Don't want to make any men scared, but I've got the power," she said.
However, WCW giant and "Rumble" co-star Goldberg tellingly revealed, "(The actors) were an enthusiastic bunch, but they all had stunt doubles."
Others standing ring-side, in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, were "Rumble" cast members Oliver Platt, Joe Pantoliano, Diamond Dallas Page, the Nitro Girls; director Brian Robbins and producer Herb Gains, as well as Warner execs Dan Feldman, Barry Meyer and Jeffrey Schlesinger.
